This morning I sat down and ate Thanksgiving left overs, knowing full well I was making a mistake. Last night I went to a dinner party full of soul food. I got home and my blood sugar was the highest it’s ever been, 296. This morning, after eating the left overs of mashed potatoes, green beans, gravy, turkey, macaroni and cheese, etc. I decided I needed to commit myself again to losing weight and eating less carbs.
I went to the grocery store and bought veggies and spinach to make a salad. Tonight I had a spinach salad with turkey, cranberries, carrots, tomato, broccoli and asparagus and a honey mustard vinaigrette. Here is to keeping it up!
